Reach is a solely event-driven app linking people to people. Current existing social networks connect users via screens on opposite ends of a cable. Their users rarely meet face-to-face but most importantly of all, they are rarely involved in each other’s lives in person.

Our app allows you to reach out to your friends initially on a virtual network but branches out and develops into a more tangible relationship. Users create events and social gatherings ranging from big events such as parties to small simple events such as a run. This works because our app is solely user-created-event-driven rather than conversation or photo driven. Real life experiences can be shared in person.

Reachs user interface and its mechanics remove all the hassle associated with organizing social events and gatherings, big or small. We have created a simple formula which does this: ‘What’,‘Who’, ‘When’ and ‘Where’. The creation of an event involves only these 4 questions and only 4 text boxes in which to answer them. We have made organization a ‘passive process’. It is now no longer necessary to actively seek out attenders, spending hours on phone calls and text messaging across a vast multitude of different messaging applications. You simply answer 4 questions and wait for others to come to you – to tap the ‘Join’ button. Instead of sending out a mass invitation, of course you can invite certain individuals as well.
